On September 2, the Armenian community of the Netherlands staged a protest in capital Amsterdam, and raised the issue of the serious humanitarian crisis caused by Azerbaijan's blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and the blocking of the Lachin corridor since December 12, 2022.

A group of Dutch politicians, scholars, university students, and representatives of various NGOs also participated in the protest. They demanded the competent international organizations to take immediate steps to stop the genocidal actions carried out in Artsakh by the regime of the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

Also, the demonstrators held banners that read "Open the Lachin Corridor", "Stop the Genocide in Artsakh", "Impose sanctions against Azerbaijan", and "Respect the verdict of the International Criminal Court."
