Moscow has already demanded explanations from the Armenian side regarding the decision of the Armenian government to send the Rome Statute to parliament for ratification. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, stated this at Tuesday’s press briefing.

"We will decide our next courses of action based on the content of Yerevan's response," Zakharova added.
