YEREVAN. – Armenian Police Force’s Department on Fight Against Organized Crime and officers from capital Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun Precinct on Thursday detained, nearby a building in downtown Yerevan, Hakob Gh., 33, and Iranian citizen Silvana M., 40, on suspicion of illegal acquisition, carrying, and sale of drugs.  

The law enforcement officers discovered inside Hakob Gh.’s socks a medical syringe filled with a dark brown fluid, whereas from Silvana M.’s bag, 90 tablets which, according to Silvana, are his Methadone drugs and he was about to sell them to Hakob Gh., Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.       

The confiscated items are sent to the National Bureau of Expertise for experiments. 

The circumstances are being determined.
