YEREVAN. – The finals at Futures Class Play City Cup Women’s Tennis Tournament, with $10,000 US prize money,  will be played on Saturday at Armenian capital Yerevan’s Orange Tennis Club.  

Anna Karolina Shmiedlova (Slovakia) and Tatia Mikadze (Georgia) will face one another at the finals.

Three Armenian tennis players took part in the Tournament and the most successful was Ani Amiraghyan, who had lost to Mikadze in the quarterfinals.   

This tournament was preceded by the VivaCell-MTS Cup, with $25,000 US prize money, whose winner was the American Julia Cohen.  

In July of this year, the Tennis Federation of Armenia held two Futures Class men’s tournaments.
