STEPANAKERT.- If Azerbaijan is trying to initiate trilateral meeting between representatives of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Karabakh parliaments, it is good initiative. If Baku is seeking to gain ideological dividends it will hardly lead to any changes, spokesperson for Karabakh President David Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier, Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly made a proposal to hold a meeting between representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno-Karabakh. According to APA agency, the meeting was proposed to be held either in Baku or Vienna.

Asked whether Azerbaijani initiative is acceptable, Babayan stressed that he takes it only as a statement.

“Azerbaijan is not ready for dialogue with Karabakh although it seems illogical, as it is impossible to resolve the Karabakh conflict without a dialogue,” he said.
