In the midst of bombings in Artsakh, children were born, and one of the doctors from the Stepanakert maternity hospital shared their account.

"In the morning, while it was still peaceful, we performed a caesarean section for one child. We had two women in labor when the bombardment began. Without hesitation, we swiftly moved to the basement, where another natural birth took place – the third boy in the family. The second birth was completed through a caesarean section in the operating room, even as the bombardment continued. It was a risky decision, but we were determined to save both the mother's and child's lives. It was more important than our lives," the doctor recounted.

A new mother who just gave birth expressed her feelings, saying, "I never imagined that my baby would be born while we sought shelter in the basement. I'm deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the doctors. I don’t want these children to witness war. May they live in tranquility under the open sky, while we enjoy peace and happiness."

All these mothers shared one heartfelt wish: peace.
