It is important for Iran that no borders are changed in our region and that the so-called Zangezur corridor does not become a reality, and if today Iran sends peacekeepers or observers, it would be a good step, albeit late. Ara Shahverdyan, an Armenian MP in Iran's Mejlis, told NEWS.am, referring to the fact that Iran has said that it is ready to send observers to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

"You know that Iran has sent around 60 tons of humanitarian aid to those forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, and we hope that these aids will continue. The Armenians of Iran, particularly the Armenians of Tehran, Jugha and Isfahan, have started collecting and preparing aid to send to Armenia," the MP said.
