YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan met on Wednesday his Ukrainian counterpart Anatoly Bliznyuk at the 21st session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The sides discussed Armenia-EU and mutual cooperation issues, Ministry’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Both sides stressed current great potential for cooperation and paid importance to its realization based on positive decentralized mutual collaboration. New relations may effectively be developed in the Assembly of European Regions, where Armenian and Ukrainian regions are involved. Bliznyuk passed Gevorgyan the invitation on Conference of Ministers responsible for policy of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe to be held in Kiev in November.
