The press service of the Israeli Army has said that the Israeli military recorded shelling of the country from Lebanon on Monday evening.
“A number of launches from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory have been recorded. No injuries were reported. Details will follow,” the statement said.
Earlier, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said that his country does not intend to enter into the conflict between Israel and Palestine after the attack by militants of the radical Hamas group.
