YEREVAN. - After Lavrov’s visit to the region Azerbaijan announced that they do not want to focus on any principles and suggested to move on the main agreement.

“What does that mean? Azerbaijan simply is not ready to accept OSCE Minsk Group’s offers and to move on to the agreement. One should not try to invent a bicycle. The principles were developed during many years of cooperation. If one tries to make ten changes on an almost agreed text, one shows disrespect not only towards the other side of the conflict but also towards the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandyan stressed.

Armenia is ready to accept the proposals presented in Kazan. It is Azerbaijan that demands new changes, FM added.

“Nagorno Karabakh’s nation must decide on the final status of Karabakh and their decision must be recognized internationally,” Nalbandyan said.
