YEREVAN. – The ITU Telecom World 2011 Event, organized by the UN Agency International Telecommunication Union (ITU), will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from October 25 to 27. An Armenian delegation, led by Manuk Vardanyan, Minister of Transport and Communication, will also attend the Event.

Within the framework of the Event, Vardanyan will also meet with several senior officials. Conferences and the governing body’s summit are also scheduled, Transport and Communication Minister’s Press Secretary Susanna Tonoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

Along the lines of ITU Telecom World 2011, a technical exhibition will also be held on communication technologies and their application.
