The President of Iraq, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, wishes success in reaching a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He announced this in Azerbaijani capital Baku.

Congratulating the president of Azerbaijan on "achieving peace and stability in Azerbaijan," Rashid said as follows: "I believe that wars and conflicts can only lead to the worsening of the situation. No problem will be resolved in this way. I believe that all our problems should be resolved on the basis of dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation."
