YEREVAN. – Armenia would have faced other situation if not October 27, 1999 [when terrorists shot speaker of the parliament, PM and several MPs in the parliament] and March 1, 2008 tragedies [when ten people were killed during the rallies in Yerevan downtown] and migration, said the leader of oppositional Armenian People’s Party Stepan Demirchyan at the rally and added that October 27 attack consequences are not overcome till now.

“We will follow that October 27 [1999] and other crimes against state were disclosed. We need authority to achieve it,” Demirchyan said. “Our state will have no perspective of development unless people are out of politics and power. The only way is to struggle, despite obstacles.”
