YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Turkish President Abdullah Gul, on the occasion of Turkey’s national holiday: the Republic Day, Presidential Press office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Turkey’s Republic Day is celebrated on October 29, but, because of the devastating earthquake that hit the province of Van, on October 23, large-scale celebrations were not held.
