Iraqi Kurdistan's counterterrorism service prevented the attack of three drones on the American military base in Erbil.
The explosive-laden drones were shot down at 5:05am local time, the aforesaid service said in a statement.
"Three drones, which were aimed at the military base of the international coalition at the Erbil International Airport, were shot down and destroyed," Shafaq News reported, citing this statement.
