TBILISI. – Armenian citizens lead the visitor list in Georgia, Georgia-online reports. According to the statistics provided by Georgian MFA, 2006-2011 registered steady increase of visitors to Georgia. The index for this year exceeded by 4% the one compared to last year.

Armenian visitors are leading the list. Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, EU states, Ukraine and Iran are following Armenia.

The most active months to visit Georgia are January, July, August and September. Totally 2,919,897 people visited Georgia from abroad in 2011 so far.
