YEREVAN. - Prosperous Armenia party will stand for increasing the budget of MFA for preparation and distribution of information materials, said the chairman of Parliamentary Commission on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan on Thursday during hearings on state budget of 2011.
Addressing to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, the MP highlighted the need to strengthen measures against propaganda of Baku, who received a new platform for anti-Armenian rhetoric in the UN Security Council.
“Moreover, Turkey also expressed willingness to support fraternal Azerbaijan,” stressed Zohrabyan.
In turn, Nalbandian said that such policy of Azerbaijan, if applied in the Security Council, can hardly give visible results.
"Turkey has already been a member of UN Security Council and would have acted if it could," said the Minister.
Under the draft of Armenia’s State Budget for 2011 about AMD 11.8 million or about $31 thousand is allocated for publishing and information services.
