YEREVAN.- Steve Jobs had no money but had ideas which he started implementing in a garage, professor of George Washington University William Kovacic said speaking in Armenia’s State University of Economics.

According to him, Jobs’ success was conditioned by two aspects: he was adopted by Armenian mother and secondly, good climate of competitiveness in U.S. Kovacic stressed that not a single brilliant idea would be implemented if there is no good climate of competitiveness .

William Kovacic has been heading U.S. Federal Trade Commission for many years. Kovacic is the author of a report on Armenia’s competition law and policy which was issued last year during the UN sixth summit.
