According to the preliminary data, Armenia’s Yerkrapah Volunteers Union (YVU) volunteer soldier Gor Asatryan, born in 1984, died suddenly on Monday, the YVU announced in a statement Tuesday.

It added that an investigation is being conducted to find out the circumstances of the death.

"YVU members Eduard Hamlet Harutyunyan—[born in] 1974, Hrachya Talish Hovhannisyan—1957, Gagik Varazdat Manukyan—1982, Arsen Gagik Hambardzumyan—1979, who were on combat duty, were killed on February 13, as a result of the fire of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Nerkin Hand [village] sector [of Armenia’s Syunik Province].

"Rostam Baghish Vardanyan, born in 1988, sustained an injury, his condition is assessed as moderate, as of now his injury is not life-threatening," the YVU added, in particular.
