YEREVAN. – The South Caucasus states will hardly be accepted into EU in the coming 15-20 years, analyst of Lithuanian Lietuvos Rytas newspaper Eldoradas Butrimas told the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

Butrimas added that if EU decides to accept new members it will be Serbia and Croatia. Besides, Polish and German newspapers spoke much about the summit of the Eastern Partnership held in Warsaw. However, there are still more words but less deeds.

“Unless Europe solves its problems, particularly those related to economy, the EU will not accept new members,” the journalists stated, adding that it also refers to Turkey, which can be accepted even later than the South Caucasus states.

The meeting with Lithuanian journalist was held within the framework of the 18th International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies held in Tehran.
