YEREVAN.- Armenian government is interested in development of cooperation with India in the field of tourism, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said during the meeting with Indian Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Sachin Pilot.

Prime Minister said Armenia attaches importance to development and deepening of Armenia-India relations in many fields. According to him, operation of Armenia-India flights can promote cooperation in the field of tourism.

In his turn Sachin Pilot stressed that new business ties should be formed on the basis of historical relations between the states.

The sides stressed importance of development of trade turnover, especially involvement of private sector.  Prime Minister added that in this context, the work of Armenian-Indian inter-governmental committee is of major importance.
