YEREVAN. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian on Monday met with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze, who is on working visit in Yerevan.

Armenian FM welcomed the guest and praised Armenian-Georgian active and regular political dialogue, which serves for the base of developing mutual relations.

The sides discussed wide range of issues and the implementation process of the agreements achieved by two Presidents. FMs spoke on the upcoming inter-governmental committee forum, scheduled on November 18-19, Armenian-Georgian political, economic, energetic, cultural, as well as legal fields and issues on Georgian-Armenians. The sides stressed importance of cooperation development not only on intergovernmental level but also in inter-agency and decentralized formats.

Nalbandian and Vashadze also discussed Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. They emphasized that the conflict should be settled through talks and principles of international law.
