YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday received Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze.

Sargsyan said that traditional, historic Armenian-Georgian relations develop in a cooperative spirit, presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. President Sargsyan stressed that the regular political dialogue between Armenia and Georgia gives a special impulse to the relations. It assists in solving any issue operatively regarding relations between the two states.

The President also stressed importance of the intergovernmental economic committee forum and believed that it will promote Armenian-Georgian cooperation in various spheres.

 Sargsyan and Vashadze also discussed issues regarding Armenian President’s upcoming visit to Georgia.
