YEREVAN.- Economic relations between Armenia and Iran are developing actively, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said at a press conference with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi in Yerevan.
Edward Nalbandian said several meetings between Iranian and Armenian FMs were held this year.
“This visit is a good opportunity to continue the dialogue. It is a good chance to discuss bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of common interest,” he said.
Nalbandian said that during today’s meeting they discussed bilateral economic relations, which are dynamically developing, there are ongoing projects, there are also long-term projects, especially in transport and energy. The sides discussed the process of implementing the agreements reached at the presidential level.
The foreign ministers also spoke about the inter-governmental committee, discussed the results of the last meeting.
