YEREVAN. – Armenia’s first President, oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan on Tuesday met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
They discussed Armenia’s domestic political situation, domestic and foreign challenges. Ter-Petrosyan stressed that rigged elections, total corruption, as well as lack of democratic freedom, independent judicial system and media, ANC office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
They also touched upon the issues related to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations.
Norwegian Ambassador to Armenia Knut Hauge, ANC members Levon Zurabyan and Avetis Avagyan participated in the meeting.
