The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on the 10th anniversary of Crimea's annexation to Russia.
According to the Turkish daily Milliyet, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Turkey recognizes the territorial integrity of Ukraine and does not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
The statement said that Russia's steps were a violation of international law and that the referendum on the annexation of Crimea held 10 years ago on 16 March was illegal.
