make preferableYEREVAN. – A criminal case is launched four days after when a son asphyxiated her mother to death, in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, on November 5.
On that day, the body of Russian Federation citizen Raisa Postogova, 69, was found in her apartment in Yerevan.
Forensic examination’s conclusion came in on Tuesday, according to which Postogova was asphyxiated to death by a petroleum product and she had fractures in her lateral fingers.
Preliminary investigation ascertained that, on the night of November 5, Postogova’s son Eduard Ramazyan, who suffers from mental illness, had asphyxiated her mother to death.
The Police Force launched a criminal case, on Wednesday.
Eduard Ramazyan was detained and is sent to psychiatric hospital.
The investigation continues.
