YEREVAN. – Rosgosstrakh-Armenia provided AMD 1.5 billion of insurance compensation since the beginning of 2011.

The total amount of the exerted damage made around AMD 2 billion. The company received 7,920 applications for damage regulation amounting to AMD 1.75 billion, 7,250 of them already received compensation.

Only 34 cases of compensation demand have been rejected, which makes 0.4 percent of all claims. The main reason for denial was collision of cars belonging to same family members or legal entity as well as three-month delay for presenting the applications, Rosgosstrakh-Armenia told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the statistics, the frequency of road accidents per month continually grows. The average figure for October made 50 accidents per day.
