YEREVAN. - Armenian men team won the Netherlands (3:1) at the semi finals of the European Team Chess Championship. Levon Aronyan won Anish Giri, and Vladimir Hakobyan won Ivan Sokolov. Sergei Movsisyan ended in a draw with Loek Van Wely, the same did Gabriel Sargsyan with Daniel Stellwagen.
Armenia currently tops the standings with 13 points, as Azerbaijan with 12 points loses to Germany 1:2.
