Taliban supporters have engaged in a battle with Iranian border guards in Nimroz province in southwestern Afghanistan.  Aamaj News agency reports citing sources, TASS reports.

According to their information, the border was closed due to the clashes. The Taliban also detained one of the Iranian border guards.

Representatives of the Taliban movement and Iranian authorities have not yet commented on the information about the clashes.
