YEREVAN. – Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations presents temperature changes for the upcoming days and calls drivers not to use old tires to avoid traffic jams and emergency situations.
Armenia’s territory will be under the influence of cold north-western air stream on Friday evening, Ministry’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Precipitations are expected on Friday and Saturday throughout the whole territory of the state, while mountainous and foothill areas may be under the snow. Also high-velocity winds are anticipated in some areas, as well as storms, along with icy roads with low-visibility, are expected in mountainous regions and mountain passes.
Temperature will reduce by 5-7 degree on the coming two days.
Precipitation is expected, including snow in Yerevan on Saturday.
Below is the weather forecast for the upcoming five days: precipitation is expected throughout the whole territory of Armenia on November 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. High-velocity winds are anticipated in some areas. Temperature will go up on Friday by 2-4 degree, while on Saturday and Sunday it will go down by 5-7 degrees. November 15 will register again temperature increase by 5-7 degree.
Temperature in mountainous regions on Friday will be 0...-5, in Tavush -1...+4, Lori -2...+3, Aragatsotn foothills 0...+3, Ararat valley 0...+3, Syunik valley +2…+7, Syunik foothills -2…+3, Artsakh 0…+5.
On Saturday temperature in mountainous regions will be 0...+5, in Tavush +10...+15, Lori +8...+13, Aragatsotn foothills +7...+12, Ararat valley +8...+13, Syunik valley +12…+17, Syunik foothills +7…+12, Artsakh +8…+13.
Yerevan will register weak precipitation on Friday. Precipitation is expected on November 12, 14 (daytime), and 15, while on Saturday snow is expected. On Sunday there will be no precipitation. High-velocity winds are anticipated from Friday till Sunday.
Temperature will be +1…+3 (night), and +10…+12 (daytime) on Friday.
