Iran condemns Arab League’s decision to suspend Syria’s membership in the organization.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said the decision will not solve the existing problems, Press TV reports referring to IRNA agency.

Mehmanparast stressed that the decision was made amid extra-regional efforts to interfere in Syria’s internal affairs, warning against foreign interference in the region.

The Arab League announced suspension of Syria after the Saturday ministerial meeting held in Cairo explaining it by “violence used by Syrian authorities against the protestors”.  In response to the decision, many-thousand rallies were held in almost all cities of Syria.
