Norwegian gunner Andres Breivik made his first public appearance in the court on November 14. He showed up in dark suit and blue tie and stated that he feels quite comfortable in confinement.

Breivik even offered advice to the court saying “this is an irrational form of torture”, suggesting to use methods they apply in Saudi Arabia against “Al-Qaeda” members, reports ITAR-TASS.

The judge in Monday's hearing remanded Breivik in custody for a further 12 weeks. The ban on sending and receiving letters and visitors was also extended.

Despite the open hearing journalists were not allowed to report from the courtroom or make photo/video shootings, reports Sky News.
