YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Syunik Region Governor Suren Khachatryan beat a businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan at about 05.30 p.m. at Marriot hotel in Yerevan, Aravot.am reports.

The businesswoman in a press conference accused Khachatryan and Ministry of Energy Armen Movsisyan recently by saying that they claimed for her gold mine. At last they took illegally the gold mine belonging to the businesswoman. Besides, Hambardzumyan accuses the Governor for having stolen the equipment.

According to the witnesses, Khachatryan entered the hotel and saw Hambardzumyan. He approached her and started to beat the woman. The businesswoman turned to the Police Chief. Besides, video surveillances of the hotel registered the ‘heroic action’ of the Governor.
