YEREVAN. - Kings never fight each other directly, they act through their armies, said MP Victor Dallakyan on Tuesday in his speech to the legislative.

"Tactical opposition continues on the political field and as it is in chess, a lot depends on the kings. Kings cannot declare checkmate on one another. They fight indirectly, through the armies. Kings draw strength through their armies and their ability to properly dispose of them.

The power of the king is that all the other figures tend to protect him; the weakness is that all the enemy forces are aimed primarily at him. The king is a weak figure on his own - he can only move for one square around his own axis. Therefore, the prudent manager calculates his moves with the expectation of how they may affect the overall position of the figures. The king chooses the right moment to strike, as well as the correct moment for tactical sacrifices," Dallakyan said.
