YEREVAN. – In the Armenian capital the Nork region, 9th Massive, Jrvezh, Mayak, Banavan, Bagrevand, Avan’s Charents, Duryan, and Khudyakov regions stayed without water.

The reason was an accident on Katnajur-Yerevan number 4 waterline, “Yerevan Jur” company informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The accident occurred not far from Balahovit. According to preliminary facts a nearby mining company has been digging a trench pass to water line number 3 and during that water line number 4 was accidentally damaged. The circumstances have not been cleared yet. The water line was delivering 400 liters water per second to the given regions.

Currently that waterline is not working. “Yerevan Jur” is taking measures to fix the damage with a construction company and to provide the given regions with water by Wednesday.
