YEREVAN. – If PM was drunk in an event, people would have noticed it, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan said at a briefing on Wednesday. Media published materials earlier where PM Sargsyan congratulated young people for the International Youth Day at the event organized by ruling Republican Party and Armenian Youth foundation.

As a result of a failed acoustics, PM’s speech gave an impression that he was drunk.

“My grandfather told me not to make friends with those who do not drink. I am okay with alcohol. As for the event, there was really a technical problem. Organizers of the event did not say that I will deliver a speech in advance, otherwise I would have used a microphone,” PM clarified.

Besides, there were no similar incidents for 22 years of his political experience. But PM is surprised that there were many people and no one told him that he was drunk. I did not drink, Sargsyan concluded with humor.
