YEREVAN. - Tax inspections are taking place in Silva Hambardzumyan’s Kalach company since Wednesday. Silva Hambardzumyan herself informed about that during the interview to the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Hambardzumyan said that she does not want to believe that the inspections are the results of the known incident between her and the governor of Syunik region.

“I want to believe that the inspections are ordinary. They check how much we produce,” Silva Hambardzumyan mentioned.

She added that her company does all the tax payments in time. She also said that the tax inspectors have been in her company since Wednesday.

Talking about the criminal case which has been opened on her written message according to which the governor of Syunik Suren Khachatryan has hit her, Silva Hambardzumyan informed that she has not been called to hearing yet.

Hambardzumyan was called to Armenia’s Special Investigation Service in connection with the publications in the media about Syunik’s governor Suren Khachatryan who has allegedly stolen equipment worth of AMD 102 million from Hambardzumyan’s Lichvazk-Tey gold mine.
