YEREVAN. - Military-Medical Service of Armenia is ready for mobilization in the event of enemy attack, said the Head of Medical Service of Armenian Armed Forces Colonel Artashes Parsadanyan.
According to him, the system would be ready in 6-8 hours, as demonstrated during exercises.
"The enemy is endlessly speaking of the possibility of outbreak of new hostilities and we must be prepared. The Army is improving and we stand ready to assist all those who will need it," said the colonel.
According to him, the service is now in a much better state than even a few years ago.
"The vast majority of the medical units underwent renovation; we have all the necessary equipment for first aid. Hospitals are fit out with modern equipment," said Parsadanyan, adding that the modernization process continues as technology gets improved.
