Turkey and Russia plan to create an energy and mining exchange within the financial center in Istanbul. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic, Alparslan Bayraktar, after talks at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexander Kozlov, TASS reports.
"We held talks on a topic closely related to the establishment of a Turkish energy and mining exchange in Istanbul's financial center. It is primarily about exploration, mining and metals trading. We had a very thorough meeting. I hope that in this way our cooperation will reach a higher level,” NTV quoted Bayraktar as saying.
