Sanctions imposed by U.S. and other states against Iran will have no effect, official representative of Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast told briefing on Tuesday.

He stressed that Iran almost canceled economic and trade relations with U.S. and UK and is actively developing ties with other countries.  

Mehmanparast considers that the sanctions are not of economic character but attempts at propaganda warfare, as the countries imposing them are on the edge of economic collapse, ITAR-TASS reports.
