YEREVAN. - Changes in Municipality staff have nothing to do with personal affections of the Mayor Taron Margaryan, said spokesperson for Yerevan City Hall Shushan Sardaryan to Radio Liberty, commenting on dismissal of the Head of Arabkir Administrative District Eduard Musheghyan and appointment of Hrayr Antonyan.

Public discourse says Musheghyan was appointed by the former Mayor Karen Karapetyan and was his close friend, while Hrayr Antonyan is a friend of Margaryan.

According to City Hall, Musheghyan was not dismissed, he was relieved of the position on his own request.
