Armenian community provides supplies to almost one hundred trucks stuck on the Armenian-Georgian border due to closed Upper Lars checkpoint from the Georgian side, Consulate General of Armenia in Rostov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The trucks are heading to Armenia and the Upper Lars pass is the only one for cargo supply from Russia.

Many cars have been blocked on the way for three weeks, Vesti.ru reported. The drivers are short of food, many of them have health problems.

Under the agreement the Georgian side has the right to limit traffic for big transport under unfavorable weather conditions.
