US President Joe Biden is not undergoing treatment for Parkinson's disease. This statement was made at a briefing by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
"Has the president been treated for Parkinson's disease? No. Is he currently undergoing treatment for Parkinson's disease? No. Is he taking any medication for Parkinson's disease? No," Jean-Pierre asserted. At the same time, she emphasized that she would not name the names of specialists who may have visited the White House.
Earlier, The New York Post reported with reference to the records of the White House visit log, that the attending physician of the U.S. President Kevin O'Connor in January held a meeting with Dr. Kevin Canard - neurologist at Walter Reed Medical Center, which specializes in Parkinson's disease. According to the newspaper, the meeting took place at the White House clinic on January 17.
