Opposition parties in Georgia have started forming alliances to participate in the fall parliamentary elections, Jam-news reports.

Opposition parties "Ahali," "Girchi - More Freedom" and "Droa" announced on Tuesday evening that they will go to the polls as number four on the ballot.

The leader of "Republican Party" Khatuna Samnidze said that they are also considering uniting with this bloc.

They also do not rule out joining the opposition party "Lelo," and negotiations are underway with them.

Before that, on Monday, Saakashvili's "United National Movement" party and "Agmashenebeli Strategy" announced their unification for the elections - the alliance will go to the elections under the fifth number with the name "Unity".

The parliamentary elections in Georgia are scheduled for October 26 and for the first time will be held entirely by proportional system, which increases the chances of the opposition.
