MOSCOW. – World’s first and third chess players Magnus Carlsen and Levon Aronian, with 5.5 points each are winners of the eighth World Chess Champion Mikhail Tal Memorial in Moscow. Last year winners were Levon Aronian, Sergey Karjakin, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.

Carlsen won Nakamura, while Aronian played in a draw with Nepomniachtchi in the last round.

Viswanathan Anand played in a draw with world champion nominee Boris Gelfand in the last round. 

Sergey Karjakin - Vassily Ivanchuk also played in a draw. While Peter Svidler won Vladimir Kramnik.
