Ilon Musk plans to provide about $45 million a month to a new political committee supporting former US leader Donald Trump in the presidential campaign. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources.

According to their information, the committee, created in June under the name America PAC, is aimed at registering voters, persuading them to vote early, as well as requesting mail-in ballots in swing states. It is noted that the committee has hired hundreds of people to do the work.

Palantir Technologies, entrepreneurs twin brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, former U.S. Ambassador to Canada Kelly Kraft and her husband Joe Kraft - CEO of coal mining company Alliance Resource Partners - are also sponsoring the America PAC, the WSJ specifies.
