Within the framework of his working visit to New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with UN Deputy Secretary General, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe Tatiana Molcean. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of joint programs between Armenia and UN structures, including with the UN Economic Commission for Europe. The sides touched upon the process of Armenia's effective achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, the third voluntary national report presented by the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The sides exchanged views on the “2030 Agenda”, opportunities of cooperation with UNECE, including in the sphere of transportation infrastructure, renewable energy sources, green economy, environment, road safety.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Tatiana Molcean discussed the priorities of cooperation in multilateral platforms, including within the group of landlocked developing countries.

The Armenian Foreign Minister also presented the latest developments in the security situation in the South Caucasus.
