At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the Armenian government agreed to donate a communally owned plot of land in Armavir city.

The respective rationale states that according to the agreement reached between the Simonian Educational Foundation and the mayor of Armavir, it is planned to build a Tumo Center in the city within the framework of the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies charity program, which will enable children aged 12 to 18 and other persons defined by the aforesaid foundation's charter free access to educational programs in craft and technology.

At least 530 million drams are planned to be invested for the construction of this Tumo Center.

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said that as a result of this process, it is planned that from 2026, around 3,800 children will attend this center and neighboring boxes, which will operate in Dalarik and Metsamor towns and in Armavir village.

According to him, at present there are five Tumo Centers and 34 Tumo boxes in various settlements in Armenia, and 25 thousand students attend them.
