YEREVAN-An unknown citizen discovered the corpse of a man (syringes containing benzene beside him) in a half built building in the Dalma gardens near Isakov Avenue at around 3.00 p.m. in Yerevan, the sources informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Malatia-Sebastia police department’s operative group went to the scene. The police chief of Shengavit district Levon Yazichyan confirmed the information and added that the operative investigative group found out that it was Aram Mirzakhanyan’s corpse, 34.
Different examinations have been assigned.
It is possible that no murder has been committed as there are no injuries on the corpse, the rest will be clarified after the autopsy, Levon Yazichyan informed.
He also informed that syringes containing benzene were found near the corpse.
“Until the forensic doctor’s answer we cannot tell why he died. He could have died of the flue or of poisoning, he might have had hearth issues. We must wait for the forensic doctor’s expertise,” the police chief said.
